WHO WAS LAFIQUL?

Ahmed 30 , was the president of ALL BODOLAND MINORITY STUDENTS UNION (ABMSU), a powerful students body in the BODOLAND TERRITORIAL AREA DISTRICT (BTAD) .

EDUCATION :

He received average grades in school but was seen as a hardworking and bright student with a strong desire to learn things. He used to study for hours, especially in art .He completed his schooling from PANKIJURA L.P SCHOOL(SALAKATI) in 19-- Lafiqul went to attend KORAJHAR GOVT. HS & MP SCHOOL then affiliated with the Fakiragram shakti ashram college from where he graduated in HISTORY 19--.

Early Life:

Lafiqul islam ahmed was born on 1Nov/1986 to a muslim family in the district of Kokrajhar(BTAD)Assam. His father (afaz Uddin)was a primary head teacher in their locality and his mother (MISS.LALBHANU) was a house wife . Lafiqul was the youngest of two brothers and three sisters in his family . By his early childhood , on that time his father was the only person who entitled to the income when realized .Although Lafiqul was interested in becoming a politician , his father had hoped he would become a government officer ,so his family steered him to enter the officer profession but finally he could become
success in his carrier as a politician . He always liked to play carrom , ludu etc with kids for serve them happy .

POLITICAL CARRIER :

Cause he deserve , so that he become the youngest person to serve as a president of the ABMSU (ALL BODOLAND MINORITY STUDENT UNION). Lafiqul commited himself a well person
Ahmed was a fierce critic of the BJP - lead state goverments anti-muslims policies and intervention . Despite being a part of students politics in one of the most voltile regions of the state , ahmed lead a tireless campaign against corruption and smuggling while also fighting social evils like child marriage , child labour , dowry and polygamy among the muslims community . As a muslim student leader , ahmed was keen on empowering woman in the region . In Dec /2016 ,400 girl students from the BTAD region convened in kokrajhar and formed ABMSU,S first ever womans wing . The wing is mandated to mobilise the community against child marriage , polygamy , dowry , domestic violence and to popularise girls education in the region . Lafiqul islam ahmed emerged as one of the most important state leaders
of the time prominently leading the cause of hindu-muslim unity as well as .

DEATH:

On august 1 /2017 Lafiqul went to kokrajhar exact at Titaguri at a shop to buy things , on that time he was shot dead by undentified gunner on aug 1/2017 in the violence - torn kokrajhar dist . lastly he had been tried to become unity of 1 crore 12 lac muslim of assam on that time accidentially he murdered
